Robert E. Fields III
Rob Fields received a B.A. degree in Economics in 1981 from Davidson College and a J.D. degree in 1984 from Wake Forest University. He has over twenty five years of experience representing businesses in litigation. He is a trial lawyer who brings creativity, innovation, a keen understanding of the law, evidence, juries and technology to his practice. He has handled jury trials, appeals and other matters in many different subject areas including products liability, intellectual property, shareholder and commercial disputes, construction, constitutional law, employment law, life sciences and tort defense. In the course of his practice, Rob has served on numerous regional and national counsel teams with resulting experience in coordination and organization of complex litigation efforts. He has assembled “virtual firms” bringing together lawyers practicing in different geographical regions and with different, but necessary, expertise and experience to meet client needs. Rob has served numerous industries including manufacturers from many sectors such as automotive, specialty building products, gas equipment, aviation, and tobacco as well as financial services companies, the construction industry, the pharmaceutical industry and others. Rob’s practice experience spans every region of the United States. He has handled or assisted with matters in over twenty states, the District of Columbia and numerous federal courts. In Martindale Hubbell, Rob is rated AV. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the area of Mass Torts.
