Robert H. Sasser, III
Robert received a B.S. degree in business in 1980 and a J.D. degree in 1983 from Wake Forest University. He has jury trial experience in North Carolina federal and state courts. He has defended numerous claims, including products liability, construction, personal injury defense, antitrust, insurance fraud and coverage, medical, accountant and real estate broker malpractice, and civil rights violations, including employment discrimination. He has represented counties and municipalities throughout North Carolina. In addition, Robert has represented clients in courts in Mississippi and Louisiana. He served as national coordinating counsel in Mississippi for a large manufacturer. Robert coordinated the defense of over 50 cases involving over 450 plaintiffs. Robert also developed expert witnesses throughout Canada for a major international manufacturer. Robert worked with Canadian counsel in defense of class action and recoupment cases in multiple provinces, including British Columbia, Quebec, and New Brunswick. Robert developed broad experience in document management, pre-trial discovery, motions practice, expert witness development and depositions. Robert has examined, cross-examined, or defended experts from many different disciplines including economists, psychiatrists, marketing representatives, historians, including state of the art medical historians, and physicians of various specialties. Robert has an AV Martindale Hubbell rating.
